C.H.A.M.P.S.: Supporting Music Education in Swansea, Massachusetts
Parents and Joseph Case High School Music Department Students,
The Joseph Case High School Music Parents in Swansea (C.H.A.M.P.S.) would like to take this opportunity to welcome you back for the 2007-2008 season. We are thrilled that you have chosen to become, or are continuing to be, involved with the amazing groups that the Joseph Case High Music Department offer. We are looking forward to an exciting year!
The purpose of C.H.A.M.P.S. is to support and enhance your child's participation in the music program. Through fundraising events, money is set aside for each student for any music related purchase such as marching band shoes, banquet tickets, instrument supplies and defrayment of trip costs. C.H.A.M.P.S. also awards qualifying seniors with scholarships for their continuing education.
As parents, we are so very proud of all of the students in the music program. They work extremely hard all year round. We encourage and invite you to come along to all of the performances in support of their endeavors. Our dedication should be as strong as theirs!
C.H.A.M.P.S. meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Chorus Room at Joseph Case High School. Everyone is welcome! Should you have any questions, please contact us at your convenience through the Music Forum (All CHAMPS Related Issues) or by e-mailing Ms. Hubbard at ahubbard@swanseaschools.org.
OUR CHILDREN NEED OUR SUPPORT!
Chuck Webster
President, C.H.A.M.P.S.
